Perhaps you should include your diet in this log.

eating is imperative! this summer after a (VERY!) light breakfast i got on an exercise bike. i had done 10 or so miles the day before so i was trying to get there or further. anyway around 8 miles i started getting a really dry mouth so i stopped so i could get a drink of water. anyhow long story short i got really dizzy and ended up throwing up before i could even get some water. so PLEASE eat more!

it will get better. the knee and the unspoken pains. unfortunately i understand both too well.

in knee news, i am almost 3 weeks (this thursday) out of surgery. i made my first full revolution on an exercise bike this morning (and continued to do it for 5 minutes)!

hey we will get through this recovery thing. your knee, your heart, they will heal.

keep your head up. and EAT!

ps-i’m considering spinning in a few months when my knee is fully healed.

Jessica: thank you so much for your comment ! you almost made me cry. everything WILL be ok. it’s just difficult right now.

i know how important nutrition is and that is partially why i kept the workouts to a minimum this week. being hypoglycemic, i have to make sure i have enough in the tank to get through a workout.

i’m glad you’re doing better. are you going to therapy ? i think spinning will be good, but once you’re fully recovered !
