Okay, I have to tell this story because it’s kind of funny (though totally embarrassing). After I submitted my comment yesterday, I went into a total panic, worried that I mixed up the “cookie tossing” expression with something else that involves the word “tossing” and a green leafy variety of food. Technically, English is my second language, and I swear I have a block with idiomatic expressions still. After checking with a co-worker and doing some research on the urban dictionary, I was relieved to find out that I had, indeed, used the right expression (to mean barfing) and not the *other* expression, which would have been beyond weird and creepy and humiliating.
