Endurance Sprints

The profile I used last week focused on hills, so we worked on sprints this week. It was a good class. Working on our fast twitched muscle fibers is very important.

I really enjoy your profiles. How often do you post them? Do you know of a profile sharing website? I recently got certified and I wanted to build a strong set of profiles to work from. Thanks in advance for your help.

Thanks, Tracie ! I definitely need to get my act together and add at least one a month. I’ve been slacking. I just added this one which I used for last night’s class. It was very good !

As far as profile sharing websites, spinning.com publishes at least one profile per week and you can search through the archives for more. There’s also pedal-on.com which is a great resource for pretty much anything to do with indoor cycling. I hope that helps !

What is the definition of an “Endurance Sprint”?

    Isn’t that an oxymoron?

Hi Jennifer ! The endurance component of this class comes from having to sustain sprint speed drills that are longer in duration than regular sprint intervals. Love your site. Best wishes !
