We’re celebrating that Geoff’s feeling better by having raw food ! We made stuffed mushrooms and are using the left over pate as a filling for lettuce wraps with carrots and avocado.

More soup for the sick boy, originally uploaded by speedvegan.

Geoff’s belly is still under the weather so tonight we made his favorite soup – ginger carrot. It was cool enough to eat outside which was nice.

Red miso soup, originally uploaded by speedvegan.

Geoff finally came back from Dubai last night with a terrible case of Delhi Belly. I made miso soup, which he likes to have after a long trip and is easy to digest. Unfortunately, Whole Foods was out of yellow miso, so I had to use the red kind, which is, well, different.

I went to another raw food class tonight. The theme was “raw on the run.” Lisa, the instructor went over all the prepared raw items that Whole Foods carries and made almond milk with almond butter and water. She also made this amazingly easy and delicious spinach salad dip.
