A clear sign that she’s taking the move quite well or that not even a new home can break her addiction.

The last supper, originally uploaded by speedvegan.

It’s “The Last Supper” in my apartment. I made "fish" and chips with tartar sauce. I’m going to miss this place, but new adventures await with my better half.

Wecome home, VitaMix

Wecome home, VitaMix, originally uploaded by speedvegan.

This Christmas, instead of getting big presents for each other, Geoff and I opted to make a sound investment. We’ve both enjoyed the wonder of eating raw over the last few months. In fact, I recently upgraded my food processor which has helped us make raw meals more easily. We considered getting a dehydrator as well, but the item at the top of our wish list was a VitaMix.

Yesterday, we finally turned our dream into a reality. We used the winnings from our recent trip to Vegas, split the balance and brought home a shiny new VitaMix. This is our first purchase together and a very symbolic one since we’re in the process of moving in together at the moment.

If you’re not familiar with the VitaMix blender, read Hannah’s review. It’s much more than a blender. It can heat soup, make ice creams and nut butters. The possibilities are endless. We used it to make coconut milk last night and green smoothies this morning, but I still feel like I’m dreaming.
