I like the actual tape. It looks classy on the carbon handlebars. I’m sure it would look hot on a bike with at least a spec of white on it. As for my bike, it’s got all kinds of colors but. Maybe it’ll just take a while to get used to after having bright orange tape for so long. Either way, it’s a cheap problem to fix.

With my favorite dinner date. He brought home 3 coconuts today !! Big man hunt ! Rwah !
Oh how I’ve been craving something other than soup !! This is Vegan Dad’s Creamy Mac and Cheeze which I’ve been meaning to make since I saw it on veg n stuff.
Feel worse today even though I didn’t go to work. Bummer.
Yay ! It’s broccoli (in my soup this time) ! The teeth are still very sore. Geoffrey made potato-broccoli soup. I also picked up a cold somewhere so my head feels like it’s really going to explode. Oh well… No riding for me tonight, but I hope to get a few good miles tomorrow.
Hey folks,
As some of you may know, I am registered for this year’s MS Bike Tour, a 150 mile bike ride to benefit the National MS Society, a foundation dedicated to ending the devastating effects of Multiple Sclerosis by supporting research, offering services for people with MS and providing professional education programs.
The MS Bike Tour is an annual event which I have participated in for the past 5 years. Normally, I begin fundraising as early as possible. This year, however, I’ve stalled and have even debated whether I’d participate at all. I can pedal hard for 150 miles, but asking for money is something I’ve never been very good at, especially in this economy. That said, I have decided that I will ride again this year and raise a total of $300 because I believe in the cause and in helping the South Florida community where there are more than 5000 people living with MS. Some of them will be at this event, riding the grueling 150 miles with me.
I know times are rough and you may not be able to pledge the same as in previous years, if at all. However, if you can, please know that every penny counts and your support will be very much appreciated.

If you prefer to donate via check, email me for instructions.
Donations are due on April 24th, so I have two weeks to reach my fundraising goal. Thank you very much, in advance, for your continuing support.
As always,
Liz
