I have to say; this was absolutely the best French Toast I’ve ever had, full stop. Liz put it together in about three minutes, and it came out perfectly.
I think by “3 years since our first date” she means “third anniversary”. She’s shy that way
I haven’t gotten through her other books either, but I just had to get this brunch book since it’s my favorite meal – and the hardest to find for vegans. She has a new Lemon Poppy Seed muffin recipe in it that is THE BEST. If you like her other books, you’ll love this one.

Oh, I don’t have that cookbook yet. I still haven’t made half the recipes in Isa’s other cookbooks.
